Bataille School has been growing!  About 160 children now attend in this remote setting in Haiti.  Two churches here in the states and a number of individuals are helping to support this much needed school and education that comes with it.  The current church/school was built out of local trees, rock and mud with the addition of roofing that was hand carried in.  A short slideshow/video clip  of that building may be seen by clicking here and clicking on the launch media player button then to Bataille coming together.  The story continues to be written as these "Forgotten Ones" can shed that name for a new day is being written.  A trail has been built from the river basin to the mountain top to the south.  A ravine along the trail will soon be bridged which will allow for additional supplies to reach this beautiful setting.  Supplies that set the stage for a new building to accommodate the school needs as well as the church.  Sand, rock will be collected from the river to be used with concrete that will all have to be hauled in, much of it by hand.  Plans are for a steel structure with a upgrade in roofing to help with the severe storms that pass this way.  Interested in helping?  www.hopeforhaiti.ws
